Peacefully with her family by her side, Ms. Thérèse Garand Chabot passed away on Monday September 14, 2020 at the age of 74 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Sonia (Bryan); her grandsons Eric and Chase; her sister Lucie Garand. She is predeceased by her daughter Danielle Chabot. As per her wishes there will be no formal funeral service.

Monday September 14 at 7:45pm, we lost our warrior and hero. On my sister's birthday (1966-1993), July 30th, we found out that she had aggressive ovarian cancer. The last 6 weeks were quite a roller coaster ride for us. In the end, she went on her own terms with her loved ones by her side. This lady was fierce and an inspiration. She lived her life how she wanted and fulfilled her dreams, watching her horses roam in the yard while having coffee in her favorite chair and being the best grandmother to her grandsons. We will miss her so much! This lady, who lived her best life! Who built her own shelters and greenhouses! Who rode her horses to the age of 74! Who we could never get a hold of in the summer because she was either expanding her garden, building something or riding a horse. This beautiful soul who helped me raise my sons. We are forever grateful for you and love you so much .
