Victor Voth, passed away peacefully at Boundary Trails Health Centre on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the age of 87 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Gwen (née Hardern); his children, Debbie (Doug) Fijala, Ken (Sherry) Voth and Ron (Cheri) Voth; his grandchildren, Danny (Amber), Tiffany (Eric), Morgan (Kenton), Jessica, Matthew, Jayden, Katrina and Eric; and his great-grandchildren, Adley, Daxton, Payton, Paisley and Remington. He also leaves to mourn his brothers, John Voth and Rudy (Shirley) Voth, and sister-in-law Brenda (Les) Murdy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Agnes Voth, his parents-in-law Bill and Doris Hardern, and his sister-in-law Connie Voth.
Vic was born on September 2, 1938 in Gnadenfeld, Russia. He emigrated to Canada and settled in Manitou, Manitoba in 1948 with his mother Agnes and two brothers, John and Rudy.
Dad started working for Cornie Riediger at a young age as a truck driver. Through the years he received his Fourth Class Engineer for which he would work his remaining years until retirement at Feed-Rite.
Dad met Mom (Gwen) at the local café in Manitou and were happily married on November 29, 1964. They were blessed with three children-Debra, Kenneth and Ronald.
Vic and his two brothers, John and Rudy, also owned and operated a turkey farm called C & J Ranch, which they operated for many years. Dad enjoyed spending his spare time on this farm with his dog in tow.
Dad looked forward to his yearly vacations in August with his family where he was able to relax and enjoy life.
Dad will be greatly missed by his wife, Gwen of 60 years, his family, his friends and especially his dog, Chewey.
A Family Interment will take place in the Manitou Cemetery. A Come and Go Tea to celebrate and remember the life of Victor Voth will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Manitou Legion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
