William (Bill) Ackroyd
Bill has gone to rest. We, his family to whom he dedicated his life, know how precious a person he was and will continue to know how lucky we were to have had him all these years.
Bill leaves to mourn his loving wife Janet (née Conn); two daughters, Karen (Ian) and Lorraine (Blair); one son-in-law Bob (Celia); three grandchildren, Amanda (Carson), Haley (Devon) and Jaden; four great-grandchildren, Jaymyn, Cohen, Kade and Evangeline. Bill was predeceased by one daughter Eileen Friesen in 1998 and by one great-grandson Ayden McIntyre in 2013.
With respect for Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service.
Thank-you to the doctor’s and staff at the Notre Dame Hospital for their care and compassion. Also thanks to all the friends and family for their support.
