Wyatt James Hamilton

With broken hearts we announce the passing of our dear Wyatt on November 25th 2021, aged two.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his loving parents Michael and Kayla, his beloved big sisters and best friends June and Emma; his grandparents Dick and Sandra Hamilton (Papa and Maga) and Linda Delaquis and Kelly Timmerman (Mémé and Grandpa). He will be forever missed by his uncles and aunts, Matthew (Stacey) Hamilton, Sheena Delaquis (Chris Bazin), Collin Delaquis, Damian Delaquis (Jaslynn), Connor (Andrea) Timmerman and Breanne (Brett) Hawryluk; his cousins Abigail Hamilton, Mayson, Rylee and Lowen Bazin, Lexi and Ava Timmerman and Emersyn and Levi Hawryluk; great grandparents Jean LeRoux and Daniel Viallet, Charlie LeRoux and Georgette Delaquis; along with numerous great aunts and uncles and extended family.

Wyatt was predeceased by his Grandpa Edmond Delaquis and his great grandparents Bruno Delaquis, Abe and Evelyn Teichrib and Jim and Margaret Hamilton.

Wyatt didn’t just grow up on the family farm; it was who he was. He was rolling little John Deere tractors around his toy barn before he could walk. This past Halloween, his mom had picked out the perfect little Knight costume. But instead, he fought to go dressed as a Farmer “just like my dad”- Wyatt. He lived a quarter mile from his grandparents, whom he adored. Most days he would stop and listen to the action going on at the farm from outside wishing he could be part of it. But no matter where he was, home was always his favorite place to be.

He was made from the best parts of those closest to him: brave, strong, happy, and loving. Though he was always moving, he would never stray too far from his Mom– usually driving his gator, climbing, exploring or harassing his sisters whom he loved and looked up to so much. Wyatt’s boundless energy meant that he needed to be tough – and he certainly was – but if he fell or got in hot water his charming smile was always there to get him out of trouble. Beneath his tough exterior, was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin – a tender soul at the ready with his signature ‘Wyatt’ hug. Waiting at the window for his sisters to return from school or his Dad to come home from the field, Wyatt was a beam of sunshine for anyone who opened the door.

To our big boy up in heaven: the footprints you left in the snow will eventually melt; the handprints you left around the house will fade in time, but the mark you left on all our hearts will last forever. Our son is now the brightest star in the nights sky. We will always love you. Until we meet again. Xox Mom and Dad

A Private Funeral Service by invitation will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church in Manitou, Manitoba on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2 p.m. with Reverends Bev and Laurie Simpson officiating.  A Private family interment will take place in the Darlingford Cemetery.
