Sadly on August 12, 2016, Xavier James Monkman passed away at the age of a month and a half.
Xavier will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Valerie and father Harry; Papas Ivan Martin and Martin Monkman, Kokos Virginia Martin and Angie McKinney; uncles Bruce (Amanda McK.), Robert (Amanda A.) and Jake; Aunts Suzanne (Nate), Tiffany (Matthew), Priscilla (Trevor), Jamie (Nick), Veronica, Katie (Jeff), Jackie and Alex; Kokos Emma Martin and Mabel Monkman, great grandpa Donald Cameron; as well as numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins and a very large loving extended family.
Xavier was predeceased by his uncle Blair, aunt Shannon, great grandfathers Joe Martin, Harry James, Tony Cameron, great great grandfather Alex Chippeway and great-grandmothers Alexandra Cameron and Margaret James.
A Traditional Wake will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 4:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Friday, August 19, 2016 commencing with the feast at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Martin Residence, House 149.
Pallbearers are Bruce Martin, Robert Martin, Sheldon McKinney and Trevor McKinney.
Honorary Pallbearers are Hayden, Brucie, Isaiah, Mickey, Roger, Eli, Vincent, Aven, Lucas, Sadie, Sarah, Sidney, Sophie, Faith and Michal.
