It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne after a long and difficult illness.  Yvonne passed away December 2, at the Baldur Personal Care Home at the age of 70 years.

Yvonne is survived by Leo, her loving husband of 47 years; children Joanne (Peter) Cohoe, Dianne DeMeuleneire, Wayne (Lucie) Clermont; grandchildren Brendan & Dylan Cohoe, Courtney, Lindsey and Justin DeMeuleneire; her mother Mary Dousselaere, sister Simonne (Lucien) Hacault; brothers Rene (Lorraine) and Jerry (Pat) Dousselaere; sisters in law Marcella Dousselaere,  Jeannie (Frank) Curran and Ellen Clermont; brothers in law Emil and Charles (Sharon) Clermont, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Yvonne was predeceased by a brother Gerald at birth, her father Alphonse Dousselaere (1981), her brother George Dousselaere (1989), and her granddaughter Ashleigh Cohoe (1999).

Yvonne was born on June 13, 1935 and grew up on the farm near Holland Mb.  In 1958 she married Leo and they resided on a farm near Cartwright.  In 1966 they bought a farm south of Greenway, and she resided there until the fall of 2003 when her illness took her to the Baldur Personal Care Home.

Yvonne was a stay at home mother who loved to garden, crochet and do crafts.  Bingo was a regular Sunday evening event as well.  She loved to visit and have company.  Visitors were always fed, and never left her table hungry.  In the fall, she donated garden produce to everyone.  Her homemade bread and buns were very popular.  Her family was very important to her and she remained close to all her brothers and sisters throughout her life.  She rarely missed a family get together.

The family would like to thank all of the relatives and friends who made numerous visits to Mom in the Baldur home in the past few years.  Mom loved the company.  We would also like to thank Dr. Morton, Dr. Desmond and the wonderful staff at the Baldur Personal Care Home/Hospital.  We always felt that Mom had exceptional care there.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Assumption of the Lord Church in Mariapolis, Mb on Thursday December 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Father Firmin Michiels officiating.  Interment in the Mariapolis Parish Cemetery with a lunch following at the hall.
