André Meyer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of André Meyer on July 5, 2010 at the age of 79 at the Victoria Hospital in Winnipeg. André was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 50 years, Agnès (nee Le Heiget), his children Rose-Marie (Joedy) Gieni, Jeannine Julius, and Jean-Louis (Cindy) Meyer and his grandchildren Kevin and Matthew Julius, Laurie and Geoff Gieni and Nicole Meyer-Nunn. He will be remembered by his brother Auguste (Odile), and three sisters Marie-Thérèse Brunet, Raymonde (Alphonse) Bézely and Jeanne (Joseph) Le Heiget. He also leaves behind numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Pierre-Jean Meyer (1967) and mother Marie (Comte) Meyer (1986), his brothers Elie, (Alice), René Meyer, and his sister Marcelle (Reginald) Champagne.
