Antoine (Tony) will always be remembered for his selfless devotion to his wife and family. Our lives have been blessed with so many wonderful memories with him, and he will be sadly missed by all.

He was a kind and loving person, who shared an incredible bond of friendship, support and affection for his wife, sons, daughters, as well as his sons and daughters in-law throughout their lives. Tony was also a devoted grandfather and great grandfather, who was loved by all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

For most of his career Tony worked for Manitoba Hydro accumulating 30 years of service while working in Somerset and surrounding communities. He also held other jobs in the community, such as owner/operator of Dac’s drive-in, and on weekends operating the projector for the Somerset Theater.

Tony appreciated watching sports, especially hockey and curling. Always cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs and hoping this would be the year, they would once again make it to the cup. He also loved watching his grandchildren play in sports, and would travel great distances to cheer them on. In curling, he enjoyed many afternoons curling in the Somerset Seniors League and watching many matches on TV with his wife by his side.

In his retirement years, Tony enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family, a good card game and going for a cup of coffee with his friends at the Somerset Food Bar. Tony and Hermance had many memorable vacations together, having travelled to places across Canada and the U.S.

Tony will be deeply missed, but never forgotten by his family, friends and all who knew him.
