"Mishaa kwon"

Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Health Sciences Centre on May 11, 2022, Archie French joined the Creator at the age of 62 years, after a brief illness with cancer.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 40 years, Darlene; his children, Lisa and Erin; his step-children, Colin, Colleen and Sean; his grandchildren, Amethyst, Nathanial, Simone, Rayna (Joel), Lexus, Treyton, John, Florence, Aliyah, Marshall, Bella, Sparrow, Levi, MacKenzie, Montelle, Harlen, Reishan, Dayce and Maeden; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Aven, Illiyana, Bradley, Andria-Rose, Mikayla, Kylie, Wellington, Scarlett, Lennie, Kyler, Lorenzo and Addison. He also leaves his siblings, Margaret, Malcolm (Rochelle), Judy, Steve (Vera), Alma, Isabel and Debbie (Richard),his sisters-in-law, Eleanor, Lorna and Lori;  his life-long best friend Don Scott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Simon and Mae French, his adoptive mother Rosie Scott, granddaughter Sarah, his brothers Herman French, James French, Gerald French, Kenny Walker and Bradley Wallace, his brothers-in-law George Roulette, Loyd Cameron, Melvin Hobson and Thomas Chaske.

Archie will be remembered for his love of sports and his joy of music, mainly Tom Petty, Offspring and Waylon Jennings. He was employed with Canadian Tire for 10 years and most recently U Rent Party Stuff for the last 15 years. He was a loving husband and the best father and grandfather to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be forever loved.

Traditional Wake will be held on Monday May 16, 2022 at 4 p.m. at the Swan Lake Community Hall. Traditional funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2022 at 12 p.m. at the Swan Lake Community Hall.
