Denis Mangin

It is with great sorrow was announce the passing of Denis Mangin on April 25, 2023 at the age of 68 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years Evelyn (née Vodon); his children, Joseph (Jennifer), Michael (Wendy), Mark (Laurie) and Christine (Jason); his grandchildren, Bailey, Nolan, Avery, Kassidy, Kali (Jon), Sydney (Matthew), Julian, Tyson (Nyah), Ryder, Kenzie, Aspen, Kylie, Kenna and Alexis. He also leaves to mourn his passing his best friend Dave (Bridget) Wright; his siblings and in-laws, Eveline (Jerome) Mauws, Lorraine (Charles) Fouasse, Lucille (Charles) Robert, Marcel (Denise) Mangin, Jeanne (Wayne) Gibson, Maurice (Kathy) Mangin, Paul (Jacqueline) Mangin, André Mangin (Danica), Yvonne (Réal) Vuignier and René Vodon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Denis is predeceased by his parents Emile and Marie-Reine Mangin, his parents-in-law Phillip and Denise Vodon and his sister-in-law Lori Mangin.

Born and raised in Bruxelles, Manitoba, Denis grew up in a family of nine children. He attended the convent school in Bruxelles and finished high school in Notre Dame. He met his wife Evelyn and they married in 1976.  They have four children and love being grandparents. 

Anyone who knew Denis knew his love of the outdoors. Many days were spent sharing his knowledge about and passion for camping, fishing, trapping, and hunting with his children and grandchildren. 

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his knowledge will live on. 

Prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Bruxelles Catholic Church. Memorial Service beginning at 1:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m.
