Emilienne Mangin
(née Hutlet)

Peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the age of 75, born February 16, 1945, Emilienne, soul mate of George passed away at St. Boniface Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 56 years, George Mangin; son, Roger (Lauri), daughters Donna (Georges) Le Heiget and Kathy; her grandchildren, Brady, Brannon, Shaylyn, Micheline, Patrick and Matthew. She also leaves to mourn her passing her siblings and in-laws; Yvonne Bisson, Marie Rose Bisson, Eveline (Félicien) Boulet, Camille (Celine) Hutlet, Margaret Hutlet, Joan Hutlet, Antoine (Céline) Hutlet, Hubert (Audrey) Hutlet, Pauline (Barry) Wasylik, Francois (Madeleine) Mangin and Therese (Raymond) Faucher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

She is predeceased by her parents Paulin and Cecile (née Desrosiers) Hutlet; her brothers Armand Hutlet and Norbert Hutlet; her parents-in-law Joseph and Elizabeth Mangin; her in-laws, Adrien Bisson, Luc Bisson, Peggy Hutlet, Marie (Alcide) Bisson, Gerard (Florence) Mangin, Emile (Marie-Reine) Mangin, Louis Mangin, Louis Mangin and John Mangin. 

Emilienne and George both born, received sacraments, educated by Ursuline Sisters and married October 5, 1963 in Bruxelles. Emilienne helped her parents on the farm. When married they farmed in Dunrea, then moved back to her parents farm in 1967. In 1985 moved to Holland, went to Ireland in  1988 and 1990, and Beligum and Ireland in 1991. She volunteered in church, taught Cathechism, volunteered later at  Foyer Notre-Dame and would do anything for everyone and expect nothing in return. They moved to Notre-Dame in 2012 and recently moved to St. Claude. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and doing crafts. 

Family prayers will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the St. Gerard Catholic Church on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Fr, Paul Bisson officiating. Interment in St. Gerard Parish Cemetery. 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the occupancy of the church is 50 people, audio and video overflow to the Bruxelles Hall will be setup to accommodate another 50 people.
