With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend on Sunday, Nov 12, 2023 at the age of 89.

Estelle will be greatly missed by her three children, Geraldine (Gabriel Marion), Karen (Richard Smith) and Wayne (Lise Forest); seven grandchildren, Danielle, Robert (Janelle), Patrick, Justin (Kathryn), Joel, Melanie, Brigitte (José); seven great-grandchildren, Dayna, Brody, Ty, Savanah, William, Raven & Ryder. She will also be missed by her sisters, Rollande Leclerc, Marielle (Gilbert Levesque) and Beatrice Stark; in-laws as well as nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her husbands, Harold Houde in 1956 and Olivier Beaudette in 1990; sisters, Alfreda Beaudin, Henriette Bernardin, Laurette Martin and Clémence Précourt; brothers, Albert, Edouard, Benoit and Raymond; and many in-laws.

Estelle was born in 1934 in St. Eustache, MB to Henri Lachance and Albina Senécal. She married Harold Houde in 1953 and raised three children on her own after he passed away in 1956. She married Olivier Beaudette in 1964 and he passed away in 1990.

Mom was always a hard worker and was never one to give up once she set her mind to doing something. She always had a saying which kept her going during tough times, “Where there's a will, there's a way” and that is something she lived by and taught us. She enjoyed her weekly volunteer shift at the St. Boniface General Hospital for almost twelve years. We love you Mom, Mémère and you will always be in our hearts.

Funeral Service will be held in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Friday, November 24, 2023. Memorial Service beginning at 10:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Abel Alate officiating.

Our family would like to extend our thanks to the wonderful 4th floor staff at Riverside Lions for the wonderful care they provided our mother.
