Peacefully at the Tiger Hills Personal Care Home on December 28, 2022, Mrs. Gerarda Jefferies passed away at the age of 95 years.

She is survived by her children, Lorne Adam (Micheline), Rita (Gordon) Hyrich, Gordon Adam (Wade Chessman) and Bernie (Donna) Adam; her grandchildren, Kerry Adam, Cory (Christine) Adam, Carl (Marilyn) Adam, Sean Hyrich (Stefanie Zammit), Kelly Sanchez, Ciera Adam (Jon Bonnar), and Cortnee Brace; her great-grandchildren, Desiree (Gypsy), Quinton, Jazmyne, Alivia, Savannah, Nadia, Theodore and Emery and her great great grandson, Lyric. She is also survived by her in-laws, Edward Adam and Mary Adam, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Gerarda was predeceased by her first husband Lucien Adam and by her second husband Lorne Jefferies.  She was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Eileen Adam, her parents, Bernardus Lippens and Léontine (nee De Kezel); her siblings, Richard (Ruth) (Dorothy) Lippens, Marie-Louise Lippens, Gerard (Celina) Lippens, Medard Lippens and Leonard (Florence) Lippens and by her parents-in-law Camille Adam and Clementine (nee Godard); brothers and sisters in-laws, Clement Adam, Mona Adam, Claire (Marcel) De Graeve and Elsie (Don) Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00pm with Tanis Podobni officiating.
