John Swain

On October 3, at the age of 91 years, John Swain's spirit was released from this world to start upon a new Journey.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Theresa Swain, his children, Ronald Swain, Rena Swain, Sally Reid (Sean Reid), Cindy Swain (Bruce Stenning), Susan Swain (Larry Kinnear) and Diane Swain (Gary Dyson), as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

John was predeceased by his infant son Larry Swain, his son Raymond Swain and his grandson Garnet Reid.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the family will be laying John to rest privately.

A Celebration of his life and feast will be held in about a year's time, when hopefully large gatherings are permitted.

Please feel free to share with the family any memories, stories, or pictures of John in your online condolences.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made towards his Celebration of Life and feast.

The family would like to express deep appreciation to home care, Swan Lake First Nation Chief and Council, attending paramedics and police, doctors and nurses, who helped us with our Dad.
