C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Jérôme Olivièro, le vendredi 2 avril 2021 à sa résidence à l’âge de 63 ans.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa mère Marie-Blanche Olivièro (Raymond Gobin); sa jumelle Dolorèse Rudnicki, ses sœurs Irène (Verne Gagnon), Gisèle Jobin et Adrienne (Paul Friesen); et ses neveux et nièces, Marc Labossière, Andrée Labossière, Lisa & Tyson St. James (Carter, Maisie, Grady, Hunter), Janelle & Jordan Meredith (Georges, Clare), Nicolas & Leanna Jobin (Emma, Coco, Abby) et Jean-Pierre Olivièro.

Jérôme a été prédécédé par son père Jean Olivièro; son frère Gilbert Olivièro et ses beaux-frères Henri Jobin et Rudy Rudnicki.

Une messe funéraire privé aura lieu à l’Église Catholique de Saint-Claude le 10 avril 2021 à 11 h 00. 

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons commémoratifs peuvent être faits au Centre Communautaire Saint-Claude, C.P. 189 Saint-Claude, Manitoba R0G 1Z0.

Jérôme was also known as “Joe” by many. He was a kind soul with a quick hello, who enjoyed jokes (puns even better).  Jérôme worked for Maple Leaf Construction for over 20 years and often spoke of good times with his co-workers.  It amazed us the number of people who knew him.  A stranger to Jérôme was another friend to meet.  His cousins were like his brothers.  He showed compassion for friends and neighbours, finding ways to help.  He didn’t like a fuss, and preferred to keep things simple.  Providing Easter eggs and funny Christmas gifts for the family was his pleasure.
