It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Julie Mabon, on May 8, 2021, at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, at the age of 99.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four children: Denis (Lorraine), Annette (Rick), Normand (Claire) and Jocelyne (Garry); nine grandchildren: Marc, Brian (Sandy), Christelle (Gerald), Darcelle (Gene), Joel (Eva), Nathalie (Danny), Melissa, Lise (Daniel) and Philip (Lisa); 17 great grand-children: Sarah, Samantha, Nathan, Carson, Griffin, Julie, Logan, Conor, Danielle, Sophie, Mackenzie, Etiana, Lexie, Jazmine, Maxzandre, Neomi and Malek. Also left to mourn her passing are her sisters: Alixe Bosc, Rolande (Albert) Bazin and her sisters-in-law: Rolande Chanel and Jeanne Mabon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Julie was predeceased by her husband Andre; her parents Eugene Chanel and Rosalie (née Monchamp); her siblings: Joseph (Marie), Yvonne (Paul) Ronceray, Virginie (Albert) Ronceray, Antoine (Beatrice), and Guy; as well as her brothers-in-law: René Bosc, Pierre, Marcel (Juliette), Jean (Alice) and Georges Mabon.

A private funeral service will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Memorial Service at 1:30 followed by Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery.

Her family would like to express their gratitude and a most heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff of the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes for their compassionate care and professionalism.
