Peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Ms. Lorraine De Mare of Carman, Manitoba passed away at the age of 78 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Michelle, Donald, Gerald (Glenda) and Donna; her grandchildren, Danielle (Daniel), Steven (Miranda), Jordon, Catie (Andy), Kisa, Tarin and Jordan; her great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Hayden, Alaric, Sebastian and Brooklyn; as well as George’s children, Marc, Tim, Ted, Toby and Krista and their families.  She also leaves to mourn her siblings, Marie-Ange Lesage, Henri (Jocelyne) Badiou, Hubert Badiou, Fernand Badiou, and Louis (Donna) Badiou; her sisters-in-law, Renée Jackson, Hélène Badiou, Alice Badiou and Donna Badiou; George’s siblings, Ron (Doreen), Carole (El) and Donna and George’s sister-in-law Caren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

She was predeceased by Lucien De Mare; her partner George Punton; her son Laurie De Mare; her great-grandson Dylan De Mare; her brothers, Marcel (Georgette) Badiou, Raymond Badiou, Gabriel Badiou, Henri Badiou, André Badiou and Jean Badiou; her brother-in-law, Alphonse Lesage; and by George’s brother Jim Punton.

Funeral services will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place after the service in the Notre-Dame Parish Cemetery.
