It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Viallet on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020, at the Health Sciences Center at the age of 79. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 57 years, Suzanne (née Dedieu), his children, Jacqueline (Brian) Reimer and Mimi (Ricardo) Lobato de Faria, his grandchildren, Brian (Claudine), Alex (Laura), Rhéanne, Marco, and Mila and his 3 great-granddaughters, Solenne, Zélie, and Mireya.

He is also remembered by his siblings and in-laws, Thérèse Débusschère, Cécile Duval, Germaine, Daniel (Jean LeRoux), Michel (Lorraine), Annette, Robert, Hubert (Lilianne), Nicole (Gerald Poirier), his in-laws, Corinne Dedieu, Madelaine Pineau, Jeanne Dedieu, Charles (Madeleine) Dedieu and Claire Fay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Henri and Solange (Pete Mineault), his granddaughter Tália, his siblings and in-laws Auguste Débusschère, Léon Duval, Gisèle Viallet, Joseph Viallet, Gigi Viallet, Rose (Don) Chapman, parents in-law Pierre and Angèle Dedieu (Germain Hurion), in-laws, Justine (Jean) Dheilly, Marie (Roland) Gautron, Léontine Dedieu, Pierre (Yvette) Dedieu, Joseph Dedieu, Alfred Pineau, Louis Dedieu, René Dedieu, Jean (Marie-Rose) Dedieu, Paul Dedieu and Louis Fay.

A private funeral will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 Health Restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Manitoba, the Canadian Cancer Society – Manitoba Division or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
