Peacefully at the Lorne Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 27, 2023, Louisa Hobson passed away at the age of 68 years.

She leaves to mourn in her passing her siblings; Albert, Grace, Jerry, Norman and Mary Jane; her special friend Doreen Tukundum; as well as her special niece and nephew, Bernice McKinney and Tony McKinney.

She was predeceased by her parents Alan and Florence Hobson (née Walker); her son Bruce Leo Alan Hobson; her brothers Richard, James and George; her sister Daisy, Mary Ann and Ethel.

Louisa worked in Winnipeg most of her life as a caretaker and doing house cleaning. She was a day school survivor who was very traditional. She loved listening to pow wow songs as well as country music.

Louisa loved plants. She enjoyed making a garden, bird houses and sewing. She always puttered around doing something.

Traditional Wake will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre at 4 p.m. Traditional Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, with the feast commencing at 12 p.m.
