A Private Funeral Service will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home with interment to take place in the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery.

Mom was born and raised in Notre-Dame de Lourdes. She graduated from Notre-Dame Collegiate in 1987. She then moved to Winnipeg for a short time to work and figure out her future, but her heart belonged in Notre-Dame. Once she came back to her roots, she decided to pursue a career in teaching and never looked back. Teaching became her life-long career. Mom started her teaching career at Evergreen Colony and École Élémentaire Notre-Dame. She ended her career as the principal at Kamsley Colony where she will be deeply missed. She made a lasting impression on so many students over the years.

Her children meant the world to her, and she celebrated every one of our accomplishments with pride and joy. She never failed to brag just a bit about one of us to her extended family and friends. She would attend Christmas concerts, sports games and almost every school related event. She never missed an opportunity to support us doing the things we loved; she was always there cheering us on.

A special mention to Fluffy, her favorite four-legged feline that kept the family company for 12 years.

Mom loved to walk and was often spotted around town. She also took up snowshoeing in the back 40.

But nothing surpassed her time at Jackson Lake being surrounded by family, good friends, and nature. She couldn’t wait for the school year to end to be able to take advantage of her time off and head out to Jackson. That was her utopia. Grabbing a book and heading down to the beach to relax.

Although Mom had plans to travel when she retired, she did manage some wonderful vacations with family and friends that brought her many beautiful memories. This includes her recent trips to New York and Nashville with her girlfriends. These memories meant a lot to her.

The family would like to thank all those who have reached out, offered their support, prayers, food, and thoughtful gestures as we deal with the loss of our mother. It means the world to us to know that she was loved by so many.

Mom, we love you and we miss you dearly. Bonne nuit, beaux rêves, on t’aime beaucoup Maman. Tyler, Alyssa, Kae-Lynn and Mikaylie.
