Peacefully at the St. Claude Pavilion on Saturday, November 16, 2019, Mr. René Dedieu of Haywood, Manitoba passed away at the age of 87 years.

He leaves to mourn his passing two children, Leonie Dedieu and Gerald Dedieu (Connie Wilson); eight grandchildren, Renée Hardy, Warren Hardy, Cody Dedieu-Hardy, Jacinda Wilson, Joey Wilson, Sebastian Dedieu, Natasha Wilson and Alexandra Dedieu; and two great-grandchildren, Malyn Hardy and Nolan Hardy.  

He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Madeleine Pineau, Charles (Madeleine) Dedieu, Paul Dedieu, Claire Fay, and Suzanne (Louis) Viallet; and his in-laws, Roland Gautron, Corrine Dedieu and Jeanne Dedieu; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

René was predeceased by his parents Pierre Dedieu and Angèle (Picton); his siblings, Marie Gautron, Léontine Dedieu, Pierre (Yvette)  Dedieu, Joseph Dedieu, Louis Dedieu, Jean (Marie-Rose) Dedieu and Justine (Jean) Dheilly; and by his in-laws, Alfred Pineau and Louis Fay.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Denis Roman Catholic Church in Haywood, Manitoba on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11 am with Father Peter Le Van Ngu officiating.
