William Douglas Herd

March 2, 1941 – September 11, 2023

Peacefully at the Notre Dame Health Centre on September 11, 2023, Mr. William Herd of Somerset, Manitoba, formally of Ontario, passed away at the age of 82 years.

He leaves to mourn his children, Lisa Herd (Ebony Novakowski) of Winnipeg, Stephen Dracul (Trina) of Somerset and Jacqueline (Simon) Dowsey of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Jordan, Finn, Piper and honorary granddaughter, Talia; along with his sister-in-law Carolyn Herd and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Peterborough, Oshawa, Alberta, BC, Florida, Tennessee and California.

Bill was predeceased by his wife Lois Herd (née Williams); his parents John and Dorothy Herd; his brother John Herd and sister Jean Darling.

Everyone is welcome to attend a Funeral Service at Adam’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. The service will be available to view via Live Streaming.
