Goodbye Helen. You were, and still are, my life long friend. It was in October 2015, while attending my Engineering Class 60th Reunion in Winnipeg, that I was fortunately able to visit with Helen. We talked of old times in Altamont for hours. She was a one in a million. I shall miss Helen's numerous, humorous, and newsy Emails and phone calls. My utmost and sincere sympathy to her extended Family and many friends.

It is with great sadness that we heard of your Mother's passing. I could not have asked for a nicer next door neighbour growing up. Her sparkling eyes, beautiful big smile and plentiful laugh is and always will be the first thing that comes to mind when I hear her name.

I remember Aunty Helen visiting us at the farm when I was a kid. And I remember thinking. "I want to be Aunty Helen when I grow up". If any of us get even a tiny bit of the life force that she had, we will be lucky people. Big hugs to you Lorraine, Jim, Neil and Shakira.

My sincere condolences to the family on the passing of Helen. Her friendly and bubbly personality lit up the room when she walked in. She always had little stories to tell which made everyone laugh. Helen was the first nurses aide I worked with when I moved to Manitoba from New York. We worked nights and became friends so quickly....who couldnt with such a smile and her laugh. Thank you for posting the arrangements and I plan to attend her celebration of her life.
