I met Kelli in junior high at Grant Park. I ended up moving to Calgary but when I would come back to visit we would meet up with old friends and reminisce.

Today I thought of you and I had to come and see your face. I remember meeting you in Jr high you were super nice, fun, caring and and awesome friend. I remember chatting for hours on the phone about life and Jr high stuff. I left Grant park and didn't keep in touch with everyone as I had intended...one day I decided to look you up on facebook to see how you were doing and I saw your obituary my heart sank. I felt so bad I hadn't connected sooner. I couldn't believe it. I will always miss you and think of you. I am posting a butterfly because I believe it symbolizes your effect on me and those around you, You are loved

Hello

I just happened to read Kelli's obituary and felt compelled to write.

It is my hope that some thoughts from the Bible will bring you some hope, comfort and peace. It was never God's intention that we should die. When He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, he also put before them the prospect of living forever happy and in good health. (Genesis 1:28)

Our creator has not given up on that original plan..perfect live on paradise earth...even though Satan, Adam and Eve messed up (Isaiah 55:10-11)

The Bible tells us that it is Satan who is responsible for death, and not God as some would tell us. (Hebrews 2:14)

Our creator Jehovah God sent his Son Jesus Christ to ransom us from death and to destroy the works of the Devil (1 John 3:8)

Jesus said: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me will live though he dies." (John 11:25)

With Jesus Christ enthroned as King of God's Kingdom, resurrection of the dead - including Kelli - and a restoration of paradise on earth is assured.

It is My hope that until that time comes, you will find hope, comfort and peace in these promises from God.

I knew Kelli in Elementary school and we were close friends back then. She was truly a kind soul. Very kind and we had some great years back when we were younger. Unfortunately we lost touch through the years as we grew older. I'm saddened to learn of her passing.
My deepest sympathy and condolences to friends and family for your loss.

I first met Kelli when I was 12 years old. During that year of my life she was one of my closest friends. It was an extremely important, fundamental year in my life and I think the fact that we stayed in touch over the next 15 years is a real testament to that. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I will cherish the memories I have of her. I will never forget the time I spent with her and the impact she had on my life. She will be greatly missed and the world is sadder for her passing.

Kelli was an amazing person. She really was full of life, caring, and a beautiful young woman. I was waiting for the day she would move back to Toronto like she wanted to. Although I haven't seen her since she moved back to Winnipeg, we still spoke every single day. We became very close and I do consider her on every of my closest friends. We'd talk about everything and anything.. Our last conversation was on October 29. I will never forget it. I will never forget you, Kelli. I love you so much and I know you are watching over your friends and family. I look forward to communicating with you in my dreams. I love you Kelli.
