Our hearts are with you all today. I have many memories of your whole family. When I think of Marie I see this mighty little woman who was always busy working away at something. When walking or biking down the road she could often be found in her garden. I can hear her voice in my head. The French accent talking very fast.
Marie had a heart of gold and was always happy to see us if we just popped down to see what was going on. I think secretly we were hoping to stop in for a visit and a treat.

We are very sorry to know Marie has passed on. Carmen has many fond memories of their time together teaching in Teulon. She was an unknown relative to Rick (niece of a wife to a great uncle). That should serve as a reminder that we are all related. We will miss her pepper jelly!
