Clement and Marie-Louise Adam
Clem worked for Scharf's Funeral Home in Holland for 13 years. He and his wife Mary (née Marginet) started Adam's Funeral Home and Ambulance Service in Notre Dame in 1974. He operated a successful business until his passing in 1984. Mary currently resides in Notre Dame and celebrated her 99th birthday this year. She enjoys her outings and visiting with family and friends.

Alvin Adam
Owner/Licensed Funeral Director
Graduated as a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1981.
He has carried on the tradition of a family business since 1984 when his father passed away. Alvin and his wife Monique (née Badiou) have three children: Nolan and Abby Adam of Penticton BC, Annik and Eric Bjornson of Onanole MB and Nicolas Adam of Edmonton AB. He also has seven grandchildren that he enjoys spending time with. Alvin enjoys golfing, AC/DC, traveling with friends and staying up to date with new technology including our live-streaming services.

Maria Lesage (née Stone)
Manager/Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer/ Life Celebrant
Maria was born and raised in Pilot Mound, MB. She graduated from the Western School of Funeral Service in 2008. She and her husband Marc welcomed their first child, Dallas in November 2014 and their second child, Macey in February 2018. In 2020 she completed her Life Celebrant certification to offer our families a more personalized memorial service. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeps busy with her kid's sporting events.

Kayla Bjarnarson
Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer/Florist
Kayla was born and raised in Gladstone, MB. She graduated from the Canadian College of Funeral Service in 2016, she was awarded the Manitoba Funeral Service Association Award, for her High Academic standards and well-rounded skills and traits of a Funeral Director. She has been our in-house florist for the past 9 years. In 2023 she welcomed her daughter Paige. They enjoy their time together with their cats and rural living.

Gisèle Dansereau (née Lesage)
Aftercare Consultant
After being in Alberta for 28 years, Gisèle has returned home to Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes with her husband Armand. She joined Adam's Funeral Home in 2016, to assist with office work and to provide estate settlement services to the families we serve. Her personal professionalism is greatly appreciated in our community. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with her son and her two grandchildren.

Norman Berard
Funeral Assistant
Norm Berard has been working with Adam’s Funeral Home since 1984. After being a business owner for 27 years in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, he and his wife Paulette (née Aminot) retired to St. Claude, Manitoba. Norm is a loyal member of our team.

Normand Bosc
Funeral Assistant
We welcomed Normand to Adam's Funeral Home in 2018. He and his wife Gisèle (née Philippe) have two boys, Aubry and Théo, they reside north of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. His hard work ethic and compassion, makes him a great addition to our staff.

Norbert Collet
Funeral Assistant
Norbert has been with Adam's Funeral Home since 2019. He started doing specialty engraving on various items for funerals and now he also assists with funeral services and various aspects of our profession.
He and his wife Jeanne (née Chaperon) live north of Notre Dame de Lourdes.

Sophie Cenerini
Apprentice Funeral Director
After graduating high school in June of 2025, Sophie plans to continue her education in the funeral service industry and remain with Adam's Funeral Home as a valued part of our team. She enjoys playing softball, spending time with her friends and snowmobiling in her spare time.
