David McKinney 
(Pizhikense) 


David McKinney, age 48, passed away on July 7, 2020 at Boundary Trails Health Centre in Winkler, Manitoba after a lengthy battle with cancer. 

 
David was born January 1, 1972. David is survived by his parents Lloyd and Linda McKinney; his children, Tyson, Taytum and Zoe, and their mother Lindsay Knight; his sister Lisa (Bill) Clarke and their children, Easton, Ella and Gradin; his brothers Brad (Becki) McKinney and their children, Braelynn and Bryce; and Warren Paul; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.


David was predeceased by his grandparents George and Maggie McKinney and Tom and Mary Cameron; and his nephew Blaine McKinney.


Traditional Wake will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 4 p.m.  Due to COVID Public Health restrictions a Private Funeral Service for family only will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Cultural Centre on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 12 p.m. with Elder Charlie Nelson officiating.
